Madison is a director, writer, and creative producer from Los Angeles, CA, with a calling for grounded, heartfelt, and immersive storytelling across theatre and film. She centers authentic stories of women (of color) with a comedic lens through heartfelt performances, grounded writing, and a unique edge all her own.

She is a recent graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she received her MFA in Film and Television Production. During her last year at USC, Madison was the only graduate student selected to direct an episode of the short-form television series, Legacy. In 2024, Madison was awarded Runner-Up for the Faculty Award in Outstanding Screenwriting at the First Look Awards. Additionally, her first short film, The Promotion, was selected for the 2024 California Women’s Film Festival and received an honorable mention at the 2024 Hollywood New Directors Film Festival. 

Madison graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2022, where she studied Theatre directing and History.  Madison was selected to direct her thesis, Jackie, by Elfriede Jelinek. She served as the President of the Columbia University Black Theatre Ensemble, directing and producing multiple plays each year, while also hosting development workshops and theatre opportunities for new theatre makers across New York City. In 2021, her direction of Sons of Liberty by Cris Eli Blak was nominated for Best Zoom Play Of The Year at the Young Howze Awards. In 2022, Madison directed Dream a Little Dream by Kay Kemp Off-Broadway and at the SheNYC Festival before returning to Los Angeles. Other theatre directing credits include Kay Kemp’s Linguistic Features of AAVE, Humidor, and Black Women Are the Moon by Phaneisa Pharel.
